Anubis, and the new face of death

The times of old Egypt are now long passed away. The sands have hidden all that I knew. Now I Anubis god of death has a knew temple. The mourge. But it is something different about death in this time. The face of death that i knew so well the wrinkled, antiquated face has sorrowfully became youthful. No more do i see the faces that have lived a long life full of excitement, sorrows, ups, and downs. Now they are children the youth. They have not known the true extent of this beautiful short thing humans call life. just yesterday i had a young man on my table. A young fellow black with 16 "warning shots in his back. Then there was the young mexican girl no older than five. Her body slowly decayed from malnutricion obvious neglect. This new time i am is a time with no future. one by one younger and younger the ages drop. young bodies mutilated with homophobic slurs carved in them. this era do they have shame no compassion not even for the youth who will help them. I used to find peace in my job now those young faces haunt me.
