Anxiety

The monster is sitting on my chest,

the monster is eating my words

before they even come out.

It whispers in my ears,

my worst secrets and thoughts.

My heart. beating out of my chest.

Their silk, smooth, ominous voices

flowing into my ear, laughing at my preformance.

It is no longer in me, but out in front of me.
