Anxiety

It’s the beast in the pit

Your stomach is churning

You start to breath deep

Stop.

Open your eyes

Start again

Feel the words catch

Choke.

No matter what

It’s there inside you

The monster of doubt

Of self-loathing

Fall.

And then get back up.

Run.

It can’t be there forever.
