Heartbeat like a hummingbird;

Fragile,

Frantic,

Fighting desperately against its cage.

Eyes a thunderstorm;

Clouded,

Dark,

Veiled from reality.

Hot tears a river,

Cascading down soft cheeks.

Everything exists in a dreamlike state;

Depersonalization,

Derealization

Anxiety sinking its claws deeper each second.

Everything lies just out of reach;

Thoughts,

Emotions,

No more than a distant whisper.
