Anxiety

I wake up with anxiety every morning,

whether it's sunny, cloudy or even storming.

Anxiety makes my heart feel heavy

and every thought of mine becomes unsteady.

Anxiety hinders my happiness and joy,

a cunning scheme, a dangerous ploy.

Anxiety is part of my life you  see,

but, anxiety does not define me.
