Anxiety

YOU DON’T SEE IT, BUT IT’S ALWAYS WATCHING

IT STARES AT YOU STRAIGHT IN THE FACE

YOU THINK YOU CAN OUTRUN IT, YOU’RE BOTCHING

IT FOLLOWS YOU WITHOUT A SINGLE TRACE

YOU MAY BE THINKING OF SOMETHING ELSE

BUT IT CREEPS UP ON YOU LIKE A SHADOW

IT’S SO SMALL, I DON’T NOTICE IT MYSELF

IT SHOOTS AT YOU LIKE A LITTLE ARROW

IT’S LIKE MONSTERS UNDER YOUR TINY BED

IT’S CREEPING, IT’S CRAWLING ITS HERE FOR YOU

AT FIRST, IT’S ALRIGHT THEN YOU'RE LEFT DEAD

YOU LET IT GO, FORGET ABOUT IT, YOU KNOW

YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS, SOCIETY

HERE IT IS FOR YOU, IT’S ANXIETY
