ANXIETY

ANXIETY

The endless thoughts,

The hesitations.

The stomach aches,

Headaches,

Tears.

Holding herself back,

Because it’s easier

Than overpowering the beast,

The thoughts that

She won’t be able,

It won’t work out,

It isn’t meant to be.

She wants them to stop,

Stop running through her mind,

Stop controlling her,

Dictating every step.

There are things

She wants to do,

Things she wants to say.

Please, just go away.
