Thoughts

Tick tock

Thoughts and thoughts

Tick tock

Heartbeat pounding

Tick tock

Lungs seizing

Tick tock

Failing to expand

Tick tock

Hands trembling

Tick tock

The tides pull me under

Tick tock

Calm sea

Tick tock

Turns to cyclone

Tick tock

Serene water becomes violent

Tick tock

Each wave coming in stronger

Tick tock

Thoughts collapsing back on each-other

Tick tock

Twisting and winding together

Tick tock

Realities and fears bleeding together

Tick tock

inseparable

Tick tock

Breathe

Tick tock

Breathe

Tick tock

Breathe

Tick tock

Closed eyes

Tick tock

Starve the wolf and he dies

Tick tock

Don’t give in to him. I stand my ground. I am strong.

Tick tock

I am sea glass. Rough waters only shape the person I am today. More beautiful with every tumble.

Tick

The ceiling above me buckles. Shattering glass floats around me.  My chains falling to the ground. Time disintegrating.  No hands pushing me around.

Only my own pulling me up.
