Anxiety

chills spreading all over my body

nails have never looked worse

blank stares but not blank thoughts.

how do i get rid of this awful thing?

i can't breathe, i can't breathe.

My God, when is this going to stop?

I want clarity, i want peace, i want anything that'll stop it.

what is "it" though?

anything can trigger "it."

"It's" unpredictable. "It's" suffocating.  "It's" always there.

Nothing can stop it. Nothing in the world.

maybe it's all in your head. maybe it isn't.

my heart feels like coming out of my chest.

tears fall down out of fear instead of sadness.

you don't want them to fall. you do everything you can to stop them from falling.

but as much as you try, they always end up coming out.

how?

why?

"It's" a "she" and she makes you suffer.

And she doesn't care.

She's always uninvited but she comes through the door anyway.

And only you can make her leave, but she's the scariest thing in the world.

how can you make her leave?
