Anxiety

Papers of mass destruction; pass, fail. Will my parents approve? Hours of dark in an empty void hidden in the silence of books. Wanting to know, learn, explore, memorize. Heads splitting at the seams, knowledge pouring out. What you know and what you are taught will never be the same. The weary sky grows with the blackness of the still raven, fades to the light of an ever angry blue jay. Not done, not ready. New day, no time. The head closes, information is locked out. Embarrassment, failing. The worry builds and builds, the knowledge is pushed out. The darkness fills. The helpless mind gives out.
