Anxiety Over War

I don't want you to depart , And leave me here with an empty heart I don't like how you must fight just to protect others with all your might. I don't like how you must bear arms Just to protect others from harm I don't like to think That the ship your own might sink I don't like the thoughts of foreign tanks Coming at you from foreign ranks I don't like the thought of you being shot And hearing about how in pain you dropped I don't like the thought of the red, white, and blue Stretched on a casket over you.
