anxious and eager

Can hardly think

Can hardly breathe

Don’t know what to do

Or where to be

Don’t know left from right

If it’s wrong, not dark but light

Never give up or let go

Sanity has taken flight

Racing so fast

Moving so slow

Seeing it so close

But can’t reach or hold

Taking deep breaths

Now thinking clear

What must be done

Is now here
