an anxious morning,

First Date,

I wonder if she could smell it on me

over the scent of morning dew in the air

the fact that i've already fallen.

Before i was willing to admit it,

I wonder if she could tell by my stories

the way i expressed her name

trying not to explode with excitement

I wonder if my good morning messages

suggest that i wanted something more

im afraid that you can see through my kindess

that i've fallen for you.
