"You can steady hope

and u can steady dream

But if u don't take that step

Then I guess it will not be

I'm done sittin waitin

Cuz my life is steady fadin

I gotta be ruthless

If I say somethin

Then I gotta go and do it

I'm fightin for a rap deal

Hopin to get one out here

When u come around here

Just know I put in work

I'm always out here tryin

Can't u see my worth

I'm steady sweating hard

That explains the thirst

I'm beggin for attention

In every single verse

I've sat around

And missed opportunities

But I've learned

So teacher please excuse me

I left behind one team

To plunge deeper in a dream

I'll leave behind another

If they hold onto my feet

Not messed up

But progression is my focus

If we ain't out here ballin

Then we babysittin tokens

Catch the door before it closes"
