By Any Other Name

William Shakespeare says

A rose by any other name

Would smell as sweet

But would it

Really?

Our world says

That a sin

By any other name

Isn’t

A

Sin

Something

By any other name

Changes our views

If you called

A rose a skunk cabbage

Would it smell as sweet?

If you called

Lust

Attraction

Would it be any different?

You can’t call

Life

Death

By any other name

It’s not true.

Changing the name

May change the

Meaning

Changing the world

May change

Our eternity

By any other name

Isn’t as true

As some people

Would like to believe.

By any other name

Is a myth many people

Foolishly believe.
