Anyone?

Is anyone there?

I'm trying to be fair

To myself and to others

Yet, I still compare my value to another's

Brunettes I'll always envy

Those Doe-like eyes who regard others gently

For all those who remain kind

After the harshest moments life has designed

I still find myself in a system

Evaluation is for beauty, not even for wisdom

Through all of my years

I have been told to never show my fears

or the tears

and never the souvenirs

Of all the pain I was in, going through, and beyond

Does anyone feel this....

undeniable bond?
