Anything, Anything
Everybody masks their pain in their own way to forget the feeling of sinking. Some people may take the route of drinking. As every night passes, I think "anything, anything could be better than now". It's like I revert to a 7-year-old version of me and I think about what I could've foreseen. The signs were all there, but I refused to care. I didn't want to acknowledge what could be and for that, is the reason for my attack. The answer to all of this could be so simple if you didn't think of yourself so little. What I'm asking for is not rocket science, it's not E=mc^2. I'm not asking for perfection. What I'm asking for is for you to take a chance and pass the test. Anything, anything, it's not much and I still don't understand how you can't comprehend. You say you can quit whenever you want, but you would've thought. Days turn into weeks, into months, into god knows how long and there still is an endless stream of empty promises. Anything, anything is what I'm asking for. I'm grasping at straws at this point and, yet you've done nothing. Can't you see your chances are slipping? The shots that you're missing? Can't you hear the booing and hissing? Can't you do anything, anything to even help yourself? This is a simple request, but I guess it was too much, so you've left and it's a fact that I'll have to accept. Anything, anything is now nothing.
