anyways, I love you forever.

you make me feel safe
wanna crawl into the crook of your voice
settle down to sleep in there
wish I could just die so it didn't hurt so bad
but your hand in mine leaves no room for a blade
your flower chokes out the weeds in my chest
conveniently, it chokes me, too
maybe that's why you take my breath away
or maybe it's because the glass box I used to live in was shattered when I first saw you smile
the turned-up corners of your mouth were sharper than any knife
and you gave me back my resolve to live
it must've been in the lost-and-found
so thanks for returning it
been trying not to lose it again
but lately it seems like I'm misplacing it
Everywhere I go.
