Anywhere or Everywhere?

Little bird in the cage, why are you sad?

Your cage is safe, your cage is sturdy.

There isn't anything to worry.

Little bird in the cage, what are you doing?

There's no need to fuss, stay inside

You'll only hurt yourself if you continue to try.

Little bird out of the cage, where are you going?

The light will burn you, go back into the darkness.

Leaving home gives you unpleasant sadness.

Little bird out of the cage, you came back.

You can never stray far from where you belong.

Please come inside and let me hear your song.

Little bird you have nothing to fear

You never need a reason to escape again

Remember your home when you fly as high to the heavens.
