AP Literature

my life is worth a B-

because schools want essays,

not poetry.

i have never made my beliefs written,

and in doing so, i have molested their immortality.

i feel i must apologize for that.

of course the thought wasn't an original one

but an original thought is a creature long extinct

perhaps if i had mused about devil worship,

Mr.Mister would be more stimulated by what i had to share

i think i'm bitter because i thought i was better

i wear no impenetrable shield - i can accept this, eventually.

but it's tough

i think i wanted to make my sister proud
