Apart

It’s never hurt so bad before

All this pain came out of nowhere

Maybe it was all just building up inside of me

Maybe it has always been there

How come I’ve never noticed it before

Being away from you is tearing me apart

You are the only one who keeps me whole

Now I’m breaking into pieces

And you can’t even think of where to start

We aren’t meant to be apart

But for some reason we are

The feeling of you next to me is slowly fading

I’m starting to forget how we interact

We need to be together again

Before I forget everything about us

Talking on the phone won’t work forever

We just can’t be apart.
