apartment fool

i started to shave my head

in a towel for a shower

no one said

that there would be a fire alarm at the hour

with half my hair

i went out the door

leaping down the stair

barrel rolling onto the the floor

 people outside guilding

with me running out the building

in a towel

with parts of my head shaved

people around howl

and wave

while standing in the crowd

emabarassed from what they say

i bowed

this was my d-day

women yelling out to me

did the only thing i could think

look at them with a face full of glee

and gave em a wink

with a face completely red

i went back inside

off to bed

forgetting about my hair

wishing that i was dead

or a least i wasn't here nor there
