Apathetic

The feelings don’t easily pass,

Not when attempts are repeated.

Why do feelings exist?

Because every day is just another nightmare to watch!

My eyes grow tired of the same romance.

Seeing what was betrayed makes it hard to breathe.

All of it gives birth to more scars on my heart.

I can’t escape the fake visions of happiness.

What would it take to give it all away?

What would it take to live without a way to feel?

I don’t need something that curses me in rebellion.

No pain to strike me down and kill me up.

There is no purpose for love.

Because it was all blind, and forgotten by them!

It was never real to even begin with,

Every night I cry by knees before I drown my sleep.

I would give the day to kiss my regrets goodbye.

But all the affection was betrayal.

Where is the choice to live without worry?

Clean me out of all the fevering expressions.

Make positives to negatives and negatives to neutral.

Is there a way to paint out my hopes and dreams?

That keeps my tears in effect.

Please let me go and be with them.

You don’t need me anymore and all I need.

Is to be away from aggressive conflict between our bond.

All I want is another soul to hold.

Yet it’s better to just stay away.

Clear my memories, and suffering willows.

Make me apathetic… forever.

Kevin.S.Witt

Hi I'm Kevin and I write poetry. I am 17 years old and I've been through alot in my young years even though it may be too young to say it certainly feels like it. Each poem I write expresses a different emotion of feeling, may or may it not be the same from my emotions. A single piece of write has it's own heart, so it can care as much as anyone can.
