Apathetic

She desires pity

She tells her life stories of how life is cruel and unfair

To expect nothing much

She tells others that love is only a chemical reaction

A desire to only bring about and raise offspring

And once the reaction is done expect them to go their different ways

Sex is a high when no rollercoaster is around

Sex is used to give us the pleasure of life when life gives us nothing

With her distant personality and negativity

She is called apathetic

She surprises many with the opportunities she is given

They come to listen and bring a rose

She says

No

She keeps her legs closed to keep the rumors at bay

People talk but now they have less to say

People don’t know her life beyond what she tells them

Of exaggerated truths and under-told lies

She goes to a house filled with suffering and hope

She expects nothing from life  except what she can grab

Yet she dreams

Of a man that is willing to listen and never offer a rose

But love

She only wants love
