Apathy

Apathy We’re the ones on the wall at the dance, That’s if we’re even invited Or even given a second glance. Movies? Or let’s hang out? Can someone tell us what that’s all about? We would love to come along, just to be included. What’s wrong with having “challenged friends,” Why should we be excluded? Hey look at us, Don’t just look but see, We are what they call in short, Bonafide “Aspies.” People think we’re strange, And they leave a nasty scar, Because they can’t look beyond the challenges To see who we really are.
