Apathy

I rarely feel sorry for you,

you've got everything you wanted and have ruled…

This glass castle made of a thousand rooms,

where all the maids and servants bow down to you

You don't deserve it, but honestly, what can you do,

It happens so often you've just gotten used to,

This deceitful cycle she puts you through.

These stubborn lies your mother tells you

It's plain obvious you are being used

She'll suffocate you one day and leave you bruised

And I’ll willingly watch and feel no shame

your unforgiving soul will finally be slain

It’s not your fault you'll never happy

But still,

all I feel towards you is apathy
