Aphotic

That evening

Coma-like sleep

Hurried steps

The sound of the door

Lamps shone palely

But

It was dark

Now beginning to

learn the value

One, painfully stretched scar

Injured in the events of that morning

And dragged along lifelessly.

Realized what it actually was

He was even hungrier

Covering his eyes with it

The pain

Working together as a snuffling whole

And crawled back to the center or the room

The gas had been lit

Out in loud voices

Was now not a sound to be heard.

Gazing

Into the darkness

A Life Like That.
