Aphrodite

"Technology

Horrible, dishonorable technology.

Swiping from left to right

and trying to figure out love.

Let it be,

Don't try and take love into your own hands...

It won't work...

It ends in heartbreak and misery.

People come and go but no one stays...

They used to...

Love used to be a once in a lifetime thing.

I would help those who need love

But now I do nothing....

I look from the clouds above

Down to all of you below,

I see you and your different apps

From Tinder to Match.

I see you love someone with all your heart

even if you just met them.

You have crushed me

For you don't rely on me

Because you're a liar, impatient and impure.

Technology has ruined love.

And technology has killed a Goddess."
