Aphrodite

Oh, sweet Aphrodite, what will please you?

You don’t need blush or pearls to astound me.

Mirrors see beauty from my point of view.

Yet you’re insecure alone by the sea.

You somehow find yourself insignificant,

Although you’re the most beautiful woman

To have ever existed, I’m indifferent

To your self-hate, for you I’d take a bullet.

You are the embodiment of a goddess.

The beginning and end to love and lust.

When you walk by, I simply hear chorus.

You have to trust me, you absolutely must.

How could the goddess of beauty and love

Doubt the perfection given from up above?
