Apology

Every time I see the pain in your eyes A little part of my heart dies All I seem to do is cold While I fail to cherish, fail to hold I fail to put you first You act your best, I act my worst My mouth contradicts my heart My thoughts and actions are so far apart I drive myself mad at how stupid I am For risking your love offhand I bare my soul and heart To say sorry for what I have taken part I’m ashamed at what I have put you through I just hope I can eventually make it up to you
