Appearance Placement

Watching the wandering eyes,

stare holes into the new face.

Should she be worried

with all of the concern

that flooded the air?

They saw her as an object.

Dark hair, bold clothing

made her seem intimidating.

Why would someone say this

about such an innocent girl?

The eyes and mind wander

before you ever meet a person.

Why does this trait go against

everyone that you meet?

And this is a question that

never leaves the mind,

but we won’t fix it.

We all have this idea in our heads

that the way a person dresses

is the way they act.

Blonde hair, blue eyes,

and dresses like a model

is considered popular.

Who made placement a thing,

when your appearance is

the first impression.

This leaves the new girl

alone, wishing people

would know the real

personality she possess.
