Applause from the Human race

Let us praise from earth's centre to majestic Heavenly planes

From deep down-under the oceans where there are no more names

From a humble swallow's nest funnel, where the clay is still frail

Let us applause life, a reality fairy tale.

Like water, voices must flow as shiny crystals from a magical pond

An overflowing fountain of joy, here out there and beyond.

Then hold your voices and hold your breath

And listen to the truimphant tale of Jesu in life and in death.

Memory will create an awesome spiritual display

Surrender to greatness for millions of hearts to sweetly obey.

No illusion and no matter what anyone in the world may say

Love and peace, hope and faith- the Lord's spirit conquers forever and a day.

Thanks for the opportunity to become a member of Power Poetry- much appreciated. In short- I live in South Africa and started writing for magazines such as the Impact & S.A. Panorama when I was young. Has been a junior mayor for a year in Pretoria and was elected to work for a year in Canada at the diplomatic dept in Toronto. (Later becoming a chiropractor and businessman) Married to Cora a teacher in Limpopo and have 2 girls Eileen & Roelene with 2 grandsons Rhonan & Shanon. My poetry covers a wide spectrum and actually kept it for myself and friends at readings. Never exposed to the public. However, I have received an Editors award in 1999 from the Poet Library Society/USA. I would like to explore more about the possibilities out there. Regards, Steven. Bye the way, my writers name is Liebmann and which I got from my grandpa.) What people should also know is that I have completed a script for Calvary University as well as Unisa with the subject/theme "Dear Sir" (Science versus Religion)
