Apples

Apples are brought in little baskets

Decorating the Troubles I'm facing

Hiding the hiddens of the holder

Tonight, on your table, those apples I'm placing.

Day by day she rises once again

her little children still need her light

Just like the holder needs some rain

I picked those apples for you tonight.

Apples are blown away by the wind every night

They've forgotten, Rebel Children are gone

But I brought you these apples

To decorate your table tonight.

She's the sun, the light

The rain, the tears that make me grow

The tree is the holder and so am I

The children are the apples the wind did not blow

The apples the tree gave me,

The apples the sun fed

The apples I picked,

Are the apples decorating your table tonight.
