Approach to Tough Waters

Just kickin it, let it fall in, all in together now I'll stand my ground forever, getting no younger in this place This God forsaken place, I lost hope in all the people I once thought were good because they let you down time and time again If you're my friend, lets stand in a circle and rejoice None of us are even close to getting perfect, Yet we've decided to hold on tight together with a voice; A voice that lets you know I haven't changed Still who I am to this beautiful day, and none of my personality will be changed by another man. I stand strong because I place my faith in a brighter day And know these things are only happening cause God wants to send me down a better way Than that path I thought I had to trail down Only to find I've made a fool out of myself, then started actin like a clown But now rising above where I fly on high You can reach out with your soul, only limit is the sky And we can go on by with just a prayer, they say it's true Just know all your belief in yourself make yourself believe in nobody else, but you

I am doing all I can for school payment, and poetry is something that's saved me for a long time. I love writing, and this is from the heart.
