Haiku

April 15th, Haiku

Morning Star My light does not fail With dawn's spreading light so red I await the dusk *** Sky Beast The wind roars today A heavenly lion hunts Its lightning fangs close *** Box Turtle Beside backdoor steps Green in green in midday shade Still--unseen by cats *** Afternoon Up the hill greenly A spotted horse, white mostly The storm nears greyly *** Still No Rain The wind is heavy The flowers tremble in fear The storm comes to rend *** I Await I await darkness To end the early spring heat Storm to smite the sun
