April Shower

Down,

Down,

Down the window,

Down the window pane,

Drip,

Drop,

Patter,

Stop,

Softly falls the rain.

Grey skies,

Stormy sighs,

The clouds are hanging low,

Lights glowing,

Loudly rolling,

A lightning-thunder show.

Wind howling,

Slowly prowling,

Mother Nature cries,

And I sit,

Sit,

Sit and wonder,

Sit and wonder,

Why?
