Ardent Suitor

My past is done Our pasts brought us together 14 years young I never thought we’d be in love Nothing changed Even after I knew who you were You wait for me in a far away place Your patience proves it all Other women throw themselves on you But you know what I really seek My royal dresses wait for me By your side I’ll stand I’m coming, dear I promise not to keep you waiting Every decision you make I will be there to defend I never thought we’d be in love I’m coming to you, my prince
