Are We Changed?

Remembrance of great leaders

Are still fresh in our mind.

As they took the first step to keep us all in line.

Going back to the times of the

Civil Rights movement.

I feel like the battle just isn't over

Because in the end we still losing.

As riots start to happen tearing cities apart

Being raised in St. Louis

I reall took that to heart.

Got families scared of their lives wonderin if this is the way.

How many people have to hurt before we can say we are safe?
