Are We Just...?

Are we just the left echos of the roaring crowd, Or the silence of the deaf because they hear no sound? We act blind and lame as if we can't be touched, Or is it that we're so afraid to feel love. Passion and commitment scare us more than crossing a highway blind-folded. At least we'd know what to expect even though we can't see. We try to perceive but become deceived. We think we see but we know nothing. So we live alone holding on to nothing, Because were to afraid grasp onto something.
