Are you awake...

Are you awake with me here

Or lost within a dream?

Perhaps it is I who dream

Perhaps not, dreams are unclear.

It seems there is nowhere real

But the present here and now.

What we are I do not know

Nor what I ought to feel.

I know only this...

We did not want to be alone.

How strange to hear love’s tone

In a stranger’s kiss.
