Are You Happy Now?
Are you happy now,
You always told me when I was young,
Not to tell people my problems.
They wouldn't want to hear me whine.
Well you should be proud.
I have scars all over my body,
Yet I haven't told a soul.
Are you happy now?
Are you happy now,
When I was little you always said,
Don't cry, don't show your weakness
You shouldn't even cry at your age, that's for babies.
Well you should be proud.
I can't cry now, not at funerals,
Not in the dead of night when no one's around.
Are you happy now?
Are you happy now,
You told me years ago, when I was small,
Not to ask for help, do it all yourself,
Man up, or are you a little sissy.
Well you should be proud.
I never ask for help, never make a silent plea.
No matter how much I may need it.
Are you happy now?
