Are You Worth It

He said

It is what it is

He turned his cheek

He set to leave

He set me up

Made me believe

In the lies

He weaved

He set me up

Just to set me off

But now

Tables turn

It's his turn

To burn

To yearn

For something he gave up

I don't hold it in

I won't hold it back

You gave

And then you took

You took it all away

You left me

Nothing left to say

You walked away

You ser me up

Set me off

Like a fire

You watched me burn

And now

It's your turn

To learn

What it feels like

To feel unwanted

A flame

A flicker

In the dead of night

It's cold here

Like December

You've always been so cold

So unsure

Every step you take

Is so unsure

You want me back

Want more

But it was you

Who walked out my door

You were so unsure

You were so back and forth

And now here you are

Funny how that works

I don't want

Anything that isn't worth holding

I don't want

A fling

A pointless lifeless thing

I want

Something that hurts

A fire

That will burn

If I get too close

I want

To know

That what I have

Is worth dying for

And more

So tell me

Are you worth it
