Aren't we all

Aren't we all too awake,
In the midst of caused sleeplessness,
Gushing in and out of livid dreams,
Lost in the tune of misty hymns.

Aren't we all too straight,
In the flooded world of bends,
Passing through hit and hurt,
Living stripped on the outskirt.

Aren't we all too sane,
In this existential insanity,
Repressing emotions with mellow faces,
Acting while the real you suffers in pieces.

Aren't we all too dead,
Pretending to be alive,
 Murdered by blinding heights,
Born and thrown into insatiable fights.
