Argumentative


She was born the second she didn't like something

She was as loud as a shofar and could get what she wanted with the clap of her hands

No one wanted to go against her but some had no choice

Disguised as the perfect child she waits patently until she disagrees

As someone disagrees there is a faint smile shown across her face

It is a look of readiness and excitement

She mumbles to herself,  “Let's get this going”


The opponent had no idea about  what was going on

She on the other hand had already formulated how to take him down

She stated her points and he responded with his

She got louder and so did he

Before anyone realized it, there was a full out screaming match

“I give in,” he muttered

She laughed and stated I knew you would


He rose and ran right from her

She sat staring and studied the seconds that swam by

I should have done something more fun

I could have talked with the harshness of a mother or the softness of a father but no

I will talk the way I  want and no one will tell me how

And if they do they will have something coming

I am…...
