Ariel Avoids A Lot of Trouble

As Ariel sat upon her stone,

Prince Eric came down from his throne

To question this mysterious stranger.

Ariel saw a chance to get out of danger.

"What is your name" was the question at hand,

And a nonreply allowed Eric to understand.

Ariel was thinking up a plan,

To win over her desired man.

She took off her shoe as he said farewell.

"Kiss me, Eric, you'll break the spell",

She spelled out with her toes in the sand.

Eric pondered this odd command.

He looked upon the beautiful girl

And his mind began to swirl.

"What have I got to lose", he thought

And that life-saving kiss was what Ariel got.

She told him her name

And of Ursula's game.

They fell in lvoe and she became his wife

And together they lived a happy life.
