In The Arms of Freedom

A guiding light inside my soul

That always tells me where to go;

Which path to take,

What choice to make

To which my actions show.

You pulled me from my darkest depths,

You helped me overcome my mess;

When I could not catch a break

You gave your life for my sake.

Saved, forgiven,

Sin’s curse no more.

The devil could never plan for what was in store.

You gave me life,

Gave me a creed

And now I’m counted free indeed.
