Army Greens

Dressed in army greens

Brown boots, tags around his neck

Finally he’s home

No trace of a smile

He is very different now

Finally he’s home

He was in the field

Said fireflies kept him safe

Finally he’s home

Uniformity

An American Soldier

Finally he’s home

A license to kill

Trained to win, never to lose

Finally

       he’s

home
