Since when,

Is it a crime to love.

Since when,

Is it illegal to pray and read my Bible .

Since when,

Is it wrong for me to worship my God?

You speak of,

“Freedom of Religion,

Freedom of Speech.”

Yet,

When I prophesy the love of God

You tie me in chains

And cover my mouth with fear

Not letting a single word of love leave.

Not a single vow

Leaves my tongue

But it burns for the sensation of love.

Why would you not want love?

For God is love.

Whoever does not have God

Does not have love.

This is the power of love

So, why do you not

Let me love?
