The Arrival of Poetry to my Life

While the gentle drops of rain fell,

I found myself in a shell.

I was wandering through my thoughts,

that I could never express.

Inside a thin bubble of knots,

I felt the shocking stress.

Suddenly you arrived,

and my interior you touched.

You came as a reflection that modified me,

and calmed me.

You became the inspiration

that disturbed my reason.

Since your encouraging arrival,

you gave me identity overall. 9

With you, I found my spirit and soul,

You taught me to know myself as a whole.

Through you I found myself,

through you I am real,

through you I am me.

You taught me to value myself,

and express my feelings with high sense.

Now I can express me, face my fears,

and stop those insecure tears.
