Arrows

Arrows are the burdens that lie underneath in our skins,

It teaches us how slow and difficult it can be to understand,

The moments that we seem to die.

Arrows are the ones thrown against your own will,

They seal the words unspoken, your wondering in circles,

Why they seem to pierce, and become invisible?

Arrows are your future studies,

They shape your career and your goals,

They grasp the broken dreams that we can't reach.

Arrows are within you.

You pull backwards, and fly foward.

Arrows, arrows, can't we stop them from becoming our burdens,

under our new skin?
